The door has a dual action hinge that allows it to swing freely in both directions and securely close at the top and bottom. A tension spring hinge prevents curious pets from nudging open the door. When pen confinement is needed for quiet, sleeping or alone time, simply rotate the gate panels on the double-acting hinges. Attach the additional panels to the top and back with the included hardware and the gate becomes a pen in seconds.
Loaded with features, these gates are handcrafted of mortise and tenon construction without the use of nails, pins or screws. The beautiful finishes are applied with care and attention to detail. All versions of the Highlander gates fold flat for convenient storage or transportation.
